Final Cut Pro

In Final Cut Pro look for CineDream in the Effects panel and drag it to a clip. For multiple clips, select the clips first, then double click on the CineDream effect.

Then go to the Inspector panel, look for CineDream and click on Open Controls to launch CineDream.

After applying CineDream to the clips, another way to open it besides the Open Controls button is to open CineDream as a standalone app and choose Open a grading session within host. This will open a session containing the clips in your timeline to which you applied CineDream to.

Once you are happy with your corrections and grades it is time to send them back to Final Cut. Select Apply from the top right corner, then you can minimize or close CineDream. Back to Final Cut, all your clips will have the grade applied.

Additionally you can export stills from the video clips using the Share Button at the top right corner.

When selecting Export or Batch Export you’ll be taken to the Export Image Panel. There you can choose the File Name, Location, Aspect Ratio, Format and Resolution. The Aspect section let’s you crop the image either manually or with one of 4 presets of commonly used aspect ratios. On the preview window on the right you can customize the crop.
