# Preferences & LUTs

Under the CineDream menu at the top on Mac or the File menu on Windows you’ll find Preferences.

**The Preferences panel has 4 sections**:

**Color:** Here you can set the viewer's color management to match that of your NLE's viewer. You can enable/disable the ICC Profile and change the Gamma for DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro as they are the only ones that let you change those settingsin their corresponding preferences settings. Final Cut Pro has ICC always on and Gamma 1.9 by default. And CineDream in standalone mode uses ICC and Gamma 2.2 to match your computer monitor.

**LUTs:** You can use this menu to import LUTs into CineDream. Use the + icon to add folders containing LUTs and the - icon to remove them. Remember, the folders should remain in their location as CineDream references to them directly. For both folders and LUT names you should avoid symbols like ( ) “ # and spaces. Once imported the LUTs will show up in the LUT Previewer as part of the Look Panel in the Final Grading Page.

**Images:** This menu is exclusive for working with photos. CineDream lets you export photos in JPG, TIFF and PNG. You can choose the quality/bit depth for those formats and the default exporting format.

**Saving:** This menu is exclusive for working with photos. It establishes the suffix for quick saving photos and for saving photos to Lightroom.
