# Color Correction Tools Panel

This panel is present on all three pages and is divided into three sections, Basic, Advanced and Effects.  You can switch between these sections with the icons at the top.

**Basic contains:**

**Exposure:** To control the general exposure of the image.

**Highlights:** To control the exposure of highlights.

**Midtones:** To control the exposure of midtones.

**Shadows:** To control the exposure of shadows.

**Contrast:** To control the contrast of the overall image.

**Pivot:** To control the pivot point for contrast.

**Temperature:** To control the overall temperature of the image.

**Tint:** To control the overall tint of the image.

**Auto White Balance:** To apply an automatic white balance to the image.

**Saturation:** To control the overall saturation of the image.

**Highlights:** To control the saturation of highlights.

**Midtones:** To control the saturation of midtones.

**Shadows:** To control the saturation of shadows.

**Advanced contains:**

**Wheels:**  The icons right above the wheels let you switch between a Global wheel or 3 wheels for Highligths, Midtones and Shadows.  With the center pug at each wheel you can control the tint of each range, the curves sliders at the left control exposure and the curve sliders at the right control saturation.

**RGB Curves:** It contains 4 curves for Luma, Red, Green and Blue.  You can switch between curves clicking on the labels above the curve.  Each curve contains 5 fixed points, representing from top to bottom, Whites, Overtones, Midtones, Undertones and Blacks.  Each point and be dragged up or down.

**HSL:** The HSL tool is divided into 6 color ranges represented by swatches.  You can click on each swatch to change from one range to the other.  Each color range contains 3 sliders, for Hue, saturation and Luminance.

**Vignette:** To create a vignette that can be modified in its size, position and feather amount with the controls that show up on top of the image in the viewer when the tool is selected.  Use the color wheel and curve sliders to control the tint, exposure and saturation outside or inside the vignette.  Switch between inside and outside with the button above the wheel.  You can modify the overall intensity of the vignette with the Overall Mix slider.

**Gradient:** To create a gradient that can be modified in its position and feather amount with the controls that show up on top of the image in the viewer when the tool is selected.  Use the color wheel and curve sliders to control the tint, exposure and saturation of the gradient. You can modify the overall intensity of the vignette with the Overall Mix slider.

You can pin this panel with the icon on the top right corner so it won’t close. At any moment you can unpinned and click outside the panel to close it.  At the bottom of the panel you’ll find the Show Hotkeys option which will enable text showing the hotkeys for the tools next to each tool.
