# Anamorphic footage shows up squeezed/ Footage from a vertical timeline shows up horizontal

**Cause:** CineDream fetches the original clip from the host application so it won’t show any desqueezing, resizing or rotation performed by it.&#x20;

**Solution:** This is a software limitation we hope to resolve in a future update, we don’t have a fix at this moment.  In the meantime nesting each clip and then applying CineDream to the nest/compound clip will make CineDream “read” the desqueezing and any sizing or rotation change happening inside the nest.

**DaVinci Resolve:** Right click over the clip and select New Compound Clip from the contextual menu.

**Adobe Premiere Pro:** Right click over the clip and select Nest from the contextual menu.
