# Error message: Failed to add Idt effect on Adobe Premiere (Mac)

In Adobe Premiere, if you apply CineDream to a clip and get an error message that says "Failed to add Idt effect" follow these steps to solve the issue.

1. Redownload CineDream installer
2. Reinstall CineDream
3. Restart your computer

Afterwards open Premiere and try applying CineDream again, it should work as expected.
